Well, I need to create this post. Recently, I have received some comments over our dearest mascot, the clownfish.
Just last month, Miss Tan feedbacked to me about the mascot. She said that many of you do not seem to know why the clownfish is our mascot. Well, if you did not listen to what the emcee said about the clownfish during the investiture, listen up! (Ok, I am not angry.) The clownfish, like the one in Finding Nemo, symbolises our enthusiasm.And just like any other clownfish which seek a mutual relationship with the sea anemones (no we are not telling you to find a girlfriend or a boyfriend), we hope that you as a PSL can and will render help and provide necessary support for our juniors. At the same time, we also hope that you can also learn something from the Year 1s. (Thus the mutual learning or the mutual "relationship" if you would like to call it)
Again, also in the last month, a PSL said that his/her classmates laughed at him because apparently, the clownfish is a bisexual. Good gracious! I didn't know that the mascot was a bisexual.
But hey to whoever you are, tell your classmates that the clownfish is not a bisexual. Get their facts right first before accusing us of being bisexuals or whatever. According to wikipedia, clownfishes have distinct genders, namely males and females. The head male (the leading male)only BECOMES a female only when the head female dies. Well, is the head female around? Yes of course! Haha, so please, do not curse them. Furthermore, I do not want to be a transvestite anyway, so it's highly unlikely for any of you to see me becoming a female.
And it is also true we only like to learn the good things from anyone. I mean, you do not look for a person to learn all the bad things from him, do you? You only learn the good things from him. We are looking at the desirable traits of the clownfish and not his/her "faults" such as a being a bisexual or whatever (if you would like to consider that as a fault, that is). Furthermore, if a clownfish is born like that, he or she is born like that. There is no way you can change him or her physically. Nature had forced the head male to change into a female on the event that the head female dies. This is to ensure survival and continuation of their species. If that was really a fault of the clownfish, then I would say that those who point that out as a fault must really be perfect.
Look, the whole point is not to scold anyone about this matter. I am only trying to tell you that this clownfish is our pride and our heritage. I certainly do not believe that you should feel bad just because it may have some weird physical traits. Be proud of yourself. Do not care about what others say of you. What matters most is your identity as a PSL. That is all. I do not think I am asking too much from you.

Oh yes, I must say that PSS comm, you have done very well in the planning of the latest PSS. Keep up the good work! Sorry that vetted version of your PSS came so late. I should have vetted before passing to Miss Mar anyway. I should also be sorry for giving you the PSS notes only tommorrow.
